No. 10 "Puffer Afloat"
For
well over a hundred years, steam puffers brought the essentials
of life in and out of populated nooks and crannies along the West
Highland coast and Western Isles of Scotland.
Now they have all but vanished from the scene, and merged into the
folklore of history.
In this video, we travel from Tarbert on the shores of Loch Lomond
to Arrochar, Inveraray, Auchindrain and Lochgilphead to join the
VIC32 at Crinan where the Vital Spark lies alongside.
We sail with her through the Crinan Canal to Ardrishaig, Tarbert,
Tighnabruaich, the Kyles of Bute, Rothesay, Millport on Cumbrae
and Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. An unforgettable experience.
Running Time approximately 58 minutes
